This chapter explains the data fields provided by the data entry forms.
A unique alphanumeric name. It is recommended to use the development date in ISO notation, followed by a two-digit sequence which starts at 01 each day. Example: 20080509-01
The mode of exposure and development in terms of the zone system as an integer. Examples: 0 (N), -1 (N-1), 2 (N+2)
The ISO film speed as an integer. Example: 125
The make and type of film. Example: Ilford FP4+
The size of the film. Examples: 35mm, 120 roll, 4x5in
The date of film development. Use ISO notation (YYYY-MM-DD) as this is recognized by virtually any database engine. Example: 2008-05-11
The make and type of negative developer. Example: Kodak D-76
The time of negative development in minutes as a floating point value. Example: 8.5
The temperature of negative development in your favourite temperature scale as an integer. Example: 20
The dilution of the developer working solution, based on the stock solution, as alphanumeric text. Example: 1+3
Any additional characteristics of the development process as free text, e.g. whether a drum, a tray, or a tank was used, how often the films were moved and so on. Example: tray, water 2 min, shuffle every 10s
The URL of a scan ("contact") of the film. Example: file:///usr/home/markus/photos/lf/20080511-01.jpg
